A solid workout on the way up. Switch backs through the beautiful forest, bridges, waterfalls, and ladders. Great views at the top. Just over 2 hours up to the top, 1.5 down. Lots of roots, slippery rocks, etc. Highly recommend good hiking shoes and poles.

We took Bedwell Lake Trail, camped overnight and hiked the next day to Cream Lake! Amazing!!

Great hike. Avoid weekends in the summer as it is difficult to get a camp platform. For moderate hikers like us, the time to Baby Bedwell was 2.5 hours plus another 1.25 hours to Bedwell campsite. We noticed other hikers estimated times were low, they must be in super shape. Cream Lake day hike is well worth doing. Very alpine like trail and great views of the peaks.

Great trail with amazing views. 1,5h to Baby Bedwell Lake - lunchbreak - another 40min to Bedwell Camp. Great camp and a refreshing swim in the lake. 10 out of 10!!! Unfortunately the next morning it was raining cats and dogs, so we decided to hike down instead the cream lake trail.

One of the nicer hikes in the Myra area. Can be done in a day if you’re only looking to get to Bedwell or Baby Bedwell Lakes. It has some decent elevation gain and in some areas is technical and scrambly, especially the ladder sections if you’re bringing your doggo along. One of the more rewarding hikes in terms of views for its duration.

This is a technical trail in terms of Rocky boulders underfoot and the ladder system. I took my dog and she did great only had to carry her up one ladder. Parts of the trail are in rougher condition than two years ago but it’s still the most beautiful as far as I’m concerned. Switchbacks make your up to baby Bedwell fun and the view of Big Interior mountain is stunning. Was still snow in parts but other hikers foot prints were easy to follow as I had no gps. You do break through the snow to little creeks below (as posted previously) so be prepared for some damp feet. All worth it. A bit of wash out heading to the tent platforms at big Bedwell but still passable. I look forward to heading to cream lake on my next visit.

Hiked this trail May long 2019. Still some snow up top, be wary as it's easy to put your foot through in to icey creeks underfoot. Really scenic and great trail, highly recommend

Decent day hike with lots of elevation to gain. Worth the swim at the top. Wish I planned an overnight trip to continue on to Cream Lake.

Hiked into Baby Bedwell, and spent a couple nights there. Set out for Tom Taylor the second day, spectacular views from the top, and great swimming stop on the way home. Took about 6 hours return trip back to Baby Bedwell. Fantastic!

Very beautiful hike. Definitely worth checking out Cream Lake as well if you have the time and weather permits. We did it in July and there was still a lot of snow en route to Cream Lake.

It’s a challenging trail with lots of elevation but worth it. The lake is beautiful.

Great hiking trail, clearly marked and not too busy. The campsites are well laid out tent pads (but they are about 30mins further walk than the All Trails route suggests. But- we went in early August and the bugs and insects were interminable- the worst we've had at any BC campsite and really hampered our enjoyment- we wouldn't visit this campsite against except in the winter months - we're covered in painful fly bites.

I wouldn't consider this a difficult trail. Camping platforms by the lake. Fairly easy to do the return trip in half a day. Great views all along the trail Easily drove right to the trailhead with my cherokee. All the way to jim mitchel lake too. Cold but neat lake with a dam.
