Bear Creek Falls is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Columbia-Shuswap A, British Columbia, Canada that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from June until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Was in a rush and managed to knock it out in well under 15 minutes including some time at the falls. Trail is in great condition but does have some relatively steep stairs. Very easy for anyone in decent shape, but I don’t know if I’d recommend bringing grandma or anyone with a cane on the trail. For such a short hike the payoff is very nice.
Friday August 28th, 2020 at 9:30am - This one is a bit misleading, a decent climb down to the falls, which of course you have to climb back up (roughly 100mtrs). Falls are beautiful, bit muddy once you get closer. Great little leg stretcher!
Such a hidden gem, this hike was so beautiful, steep on the way up but definitely manageable as it’s such a short distance.
Great short hike to see some falls (about half an hour round trip). You can get close to the falls but best to be wearing a rain jacket for that.
Beautiful little hike to stretch your legs. Amazing view of the river and the waterfall at the end. Nice easy hike down but a bit of leg burner going back up.
Beautiful little hidden trail. Took about 15 minutes to get down to the Falls. Well worth the view! It is a bit slippery down at bottom which can be a bit dangerous for young children. Be prepared to get wet, highly recommend rain jackets. The hike back up is quite uphill, go at your own pace.
