More of a long stroll tbh, but it is peaceful and a wide gravel trail between cranberry fields and others.

one of my favorite places in the area Have walked this with husband and our Lab. Dog can be off leash for good portions but back on lead when other dogs approaching. Lots of Eagles, hawks and song birds in the area. Have caught sight of black bear once or twice . Recently took daughter-in-law for peddle biking along some of the dyke trails. keep in mind if crossing to otherside of dyke...you may take a bit to get back. keep an eye on your time and distance. Trail/path is wide for social distance if being respectful to others. In areas, there are benches to rest. You are open and exposed to the elements. very enjoyable

Busy on weekends. I go here only on weekdays to avoid crowds.

nice trail, good river and mountain views, spot some exotic birds. donwncurve: Farms manure left a disgusting smell all along the trail.

I walk around here with my kids all the time. Great spot for a walk or a bike ride around the dyke. Dog friendly ON LEASH.

It’s and in and out, rather a full loop.

Beautiful trail, semi-quiet. We biked the trail.

This trail is not a loop. As you walk the dyke you can see what you would think is the trail back across the river. It is not. It is a completely different trail that does not connect. This is an in and out trail.

Off-leash dog park near the south end by Jerry Sulina Park. Lots of parking at the park as well. Can get busy but not predictable. I have been there on several sunny Saturdays when it has been almost empty and Wednesday afternoons when the parking lot was overflowing. Well maintained with benches and garbage cans along the way. No shade so best to bring/wear a hat. Be mindful that this area is home to bears and coyotes. The north end has “Silver Bridge”, famous as a jumping spot for kids of all ages - not necessarily safe at all but still a local tradition. This end also has a well-maintained parking lot with picnic tables and a length of water access great for kayak launching and just relaxing.

A well groomed flat trail that goes along the river. It has a few picturesque views along the way but never to far from a road and noise.

Trail gets busy with dog walkers on parts of the dyke so start early.

A great place to walk dogs and take pictures. Very easy to get too and very scenic. I often take friends visiting from overseas on this trail to show them the beauty of the Lower Mainland.

Not difficult but fairly long. Lots of people walking near the end and start but fairly empty in the middle.

Great place to walk my dog off leash. Not too many people for a Saturday; probably because there are so many miles to roam.
