Nice easy walk with great views

Amazing day out walking both trails with the kids. Nice and quiet, beautifully sunny and some lovely pics of Mount Baker.

Very nice cinder track, little elevation gain, amazing view of Mt. Baker. An absolute fantasy for a training run. I’m thankful for the maps at every intersection, plenty of parking, and friendly park go-ers!

Another one of my training areas. very nice place to run, and the hill on the northwest part of Pepin Brook is great for intensity training.

Aside from this hill i consider this an easy trail, and at most an easy plus (not moderate, not a ton of elevation gain really and non-technical terrain). Downside to this loop and other trails on the park are the lack of distance options exceeding 10km without running on the same paths multiple times, but its still worth 5 stars in my book.

as an aside i ran here in elementary for cross country, and believe the schools in the Langley district still use it for their cross country meets.

Walk it every day, it has flat and hilly areas. A good daily plan if you live close by.

Great walk with some inclined areas. Both forest and sunny parts. We walked the rock'n'horse trail in order to see the view areas. Were treated to the Canadian snowbirds air team as they performed at the Abbotsford air show. Will return to walk the
Pepin loop. Stats = 5.6 km, 6000 steps, 75 minutes with a bit of time to chat with folks along the way.
