So beautiful! Read the reviews and was prepared for a tough hike. Appropriate footwear is a must. It was a bit tricky with a dog on leash - any pulling and it’s a bit dicey. Agree with other posters - resist the urge to turn back! So worth it.

Every part of this hike is amazing. It's certainly intermediate since you have to commit the hands to scramble/climb mutliple times. So if you have a decent fitness level and proper footwear, come check this out! The view is astonishing.

Great hike with amazing views of Abraham Lake. Some fairly difficult terrain in areas but not that bad for anyone in decent shape.

Definitely not moderate, more on the hard side. It's straight up, with loose rock. Amazing view, definitely worth, however high up you are comfortable going.

This is definitely not moderate. Expect a hell of a hike. Rewarding at the top. Just fight though the thought of turning around.

We lost 5/7 group members because they thought it was too difficult for them. Must be an experienced hiker.

Bring gloves to help with the sharp rocks.

This trail is pretty tough. Not much of a marked trail going up, basically find your own way. Steep scramble at some points, loose shale and jagged cliffs. Took about 1.5 hours up and 1 hour down. Best view of Abraham Lake at the summit. Worth the difficulty, not recommended for beginners.

This trail should be rated more hard than moderate. The whole thing was an incline where you were on your hands and feet trying to climb loose shale rock. There trail was really hard to follow and would disappear at some points so you would have to make your own. We made it about half way and had an minor accident so turned around and came back. Would not recommend trail for beginners! The view it amazing and one day would love to make it to the top.

1/2 up turns into a full scramble ... on your hands and feet with some climbing. The dog couldn't quite make it on the steep scree so we turned around about 3/4 of the way up.
