If you follow the signs taking you to the canyon, you will find it. It was way easier to go down into the canyon and follow the creek up. We have done this trail in the summer and winter. Snowshoes are recommended in the canyon during the winter.

Great place for viewing and taking a quick soak by the water. Really cold though !! Sure wakes you up. Some areas are really steep. Dog had to enable its 4 paw drive to get around. May be difficult for little kids.

Amazing Falls!! A couple steep parts but not to bad..... did miss the sharp turn and ended up walking down the river.... definitely would do it again

Did with my wife. It was a nice hike. Another person on here advised to park at transfer station, walk aound the fence, and you'll come to trailhead sign. Glad for that cause we almost left. Coming back, we missed the sharp turn back up into the forest...walked along the river and realized that we had to backtrack. Oh well, a little adventure for the day.

Great little trail, just finished with my three boys ages 8-12 they had no issues with the steep slopes, great spot to have lunch once you reach the falls.

Very good hike with some nice scenery. The first leg is very easy with an easy incline. Once you enter the forests trail things do change slightly but still manageable for even novices. The last 500 yards are the worst, but take your time and enjoy the beautiful sight that makes it worth while

Park at the waste transfer site, be aware there is no signage for this trail from the highway, so be prepared to turn in. Once there walk around the left side of the fenced in site and then you will see the sign for the trail. Fairly easy up then nice little windy single track to the edge of the creek. Mind you at the top. We had our two little experienced ones with us as usual 4 and 6 years old. The descent to the falls from the ridge is quite steep and has been beat down by traffic. But we made it slowly and the falls is a nice treat. Leaving we crossed over the creek at the base of the falls, made it down half a km and crossed back on a narrow point where the ascent back to the trail is minimal compared to the descent.

Of course you must take the steep decline to get to the falls !! its not that bad ! it's beautiful down there you can actually sit on the rock beside the falls. I'm shocked to read that people just stopped at the top !

not the greatest trail itself, and if you want to see the falls at a reasonable distance you need to take a steep decline where the map on here ends. that said, it's short and friendly for many skill levels.

Easy, well marked, hike to the viewpoints but I found the descent to the falls too steep to attempt by myself.
