Decent trail, not much for Mountain View’s , but a reasonable workout with the elevation. May 15 only a couple very small snowy patches.

The trail as shown in this app is not exactly the way that the real trail is set out. There are branches which are closed and others which are recently upgraded. It’s suggested that instead of just doing the loop, that one goes up to the top and extra kilometre or so to get the view.

Was a good trail (not well marked though) with some views. I would recommend doing the loop counter-clockwise - that way you will be facing the best view all the way down the hill (we didn't and the view was at our backs.

A nice nature walk through the trees with no views... Keep going and do Wind Ridge trail if you want more of a challenge. As an intermediate hiker I would rate this as easy.

Awesome late afternoon-evening hike! Moderate incline half-way, continuously winding up. Worth the effort when you reach the false summit and see the vast valley views and craggy mountains! We only went part way up to the true summit, as it was late. My husband and chocolate lab found it challenging enough with the steeper scramble/mixed narrow trail. Very doable for low to moderate fitness. Stamina is needed if you wish to reach the top! Would do this hike again! I did the Wind Ridge trail days before and found it much more challenging given the steady increase in elevation (directly across the valley from Wind Ridge Trail)!

Did this trail July 28. Went counter clockwise up the loop. The first half of the loop was NOT moderately trafficked, so bring bear spray and make noise just in case. We detoured a bit at the arrow and went up to see the real view of Mt Lougheed - took us an extra half hour and maybe added a extra km but absolutely worth it. Stunning.

This trail is not moderately trafficked, went on a beautiful day and met one group on the way back, don’t take the arrow up at the end of the steep incline, enjoy the view while your there bc it’s downhill after that. When your on the way down you’ll see another trail off to the left don’t take it, stay to the right, and you’ll end up on the trail back, takes you to the creek, good place to stop and have a snack, all in all great hike, definitely will do it again...btw seen a lot of fresh poop, not sure what it was from, take bear spray and be noisy!

Hiked this trail with my fiance today and we got lost! >_<" Very windy, bring a light jacket, gloves and a compass. Bear spray too. At first, we passed 4 bridges then you can find those blue pole signs that directs you where to go. But then when we passed the steep inclined there was an arrow that is pointing to go up. That trail is closed and we didn't know. It was 15 mins to go up and 10 mins to go down. (This trail is the Wind Ridge) We looked at our offline map at the top and saw that we're off the guidance trail and decided to head back down. When we saw the arrow again, we observed it closer and realized that it was cut off from its branches so we don't know where it really supposed to be pointing at. There was a trail going down, opposite where the arrow was pointing at. I think that trail is the Loop. But we got scared so we hiked down from where we came from! Its a very good nature hike though! Will definitely re-attempt this trail in June! (:

Decent trek through the forest. Steep incline on the east side of the loop, and there is a new cut path with bridges that you can take to the west on the return loop (if you start on the east loop

The trail is in good condition, only covered with thin layer of snow except Wind Ridge Trail has deeper snow Great hike and definitely go back again in summer time Great view at the Wind Ridge Trail. Worth extra effort to go up. Crampon is a must going there
