This is a review for a trail not on All Trails, located east of Lasser Slave Lake, near Marten River Campground. The trail is called Lily Lake Trail.

We discovered this trail when we arrived at Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park. It is located not far from Marten River Campground and was an enjoyable hike through birch, lodge pole and jack pine trees. Starts at the top of Marten Mountain, a 6km gravel road drive, off of Hwy. 88, to an overlook area with views of the large Lesser Slave Lake.
Lilly Lake allegedly has trout, saw fish feeding on insects. Wish I had taken my fishing rod.
Not a difficult hike, a tad muddy in spots. A lot of ripe wild raspberries and blue berries along the trail. Probably the most bear potential hike we've been on this summer.
