This was a great walk first down the power line route to the falls easy peasy great for families. The frozen falls are amazing and the rock cavern cliff is gorgeous. I took the original path the way back it’s roomy and keeps it interesting. Near the end looks like people made a make shift tipi shelter or who knows maybe it was Bigfoot to care for the trolls at the falls know one really knows. Overall it was a beautiful trail.

easy to moderate. used snowshoes, but should be okay with spikes. went to upper falls. Not hard, but very show covered so not scenic up there. would be super pretty in the summer!

Jan 2 - super easy hike, good for kids! Nice weather too, not too chilly. Went with my 6yo niece with winter boots. Lots of families and dogs on the trail. Packed parking lot so we parked on the side of the road.

If going to upper falls have some crampons or spikes. Otherwise easy in hiking or winter boots. Upper falls you can go behind the waterfall. Easy walk. There is a toboggan hill for kids too.

Great hike really easy to do unfortunately because of this and the attraction to the falls it’s really busy especially at the lower falls the upper falls become less packed with people.
