Shunga La She Route is a 10.5 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kananaskis Improvement, Alberta, Canada that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

a lot of snow in the creek bed in the return. Some of spots are chest deep. Definitely need snowshoes.

It’s one of the shorter scrambles in the SheepRiverValley but definitely provides a challenging objective nonetheless. Very long ridge scrambling, not much cruising pace here, just grind away up the ridge. The views are outstanding and really worth the extra push past the FS. Lovely day spent in Kananaskis
