Awesome day! May 29/2020... this time we went the hikers route!! So much easier than technical route! Just went past Ravens end up to second blue marker as we summited other route last time.. Started late in day so will return to go to chains.

We completed this hike with hopes to do the whole mountain. We were only able to complete the section marked on this trail. We will happily come back later in the year to try it again. The trail itself is a continuous incline up - it was nice and dry when we started and nearing the top we found packed snow on the trail. We had sunshine, hail, rain, and snow all in one hike. It was very windy at the top and snowing very hard with limited visibly so we turned back. Our way down was slick because it must have rained halfway the way to the bottom. Very muddy. We met some groups closer to the parking lot that had started their climbs earlier and managed to complete the whole circle. Hopefully the weather will be on your side. Overall still a great hike and one that I’ve wanted to climb for ages. Completed: Sat. May 10, 2020.

Moderate hike with a few steep sections. Beautiful views all along the hike. Microspikes would be a good idea but we were able to do most of the hike without them.

hiked this 27oct. Well marked trail. Could be done up to key passage without spikes, but beyond that really deserves spikes for footing. 1:45 up and 0:50 down. Scenic sweeping views even tho mostly cloudy. Need to come back on this one late spring.

Surreal views from the top! I went along a trail that wasnt listed on alltrails but was clearly marked—brought me to the ridge line

We really enjoyed this one! We didn’t have time to do the entire Yamnuska mountain- but enjoyed this portion of it! Great views!

Easy half of the Yamuska Loop. Be patience through the forest and you will be shocked approaching the high point. Poles are recommended but not necessary. If you want cross the peak you need a nice pair of climbing gloves and strictly follow the blue squares.

Hiked 4/23/19. Heart pounding uphill. After about a mile, it’s all worth it. Awesome views, lots of wildlife, and mountains all around. Trail was clear up until mile 2, when crampons were required. Far too slippery ice conditions to go past 2 miles or so, without spikes. Would definitely do again with better gear. Trail was quiet until around 9/930am when other hikers started showing up. Go early and be ready for a great, hard climb.

good hike, some technical portions at the chains but would recommend to do it in summer rather than winter. beautiful views

Moderate difficulty hike, beautiful views over the flats and at multiple stops along the way. Hard packed snow at the top so bring cleats. Nice going through deciduous trees at the bottom and conifer trees at the top. Took us about 2.5h going up and 1.5h coming down (and we took our time). Would probably make a good trail run.
