We did this hike without a bike, its doable but takes longer, next time I will bring my bike. Amazing view if you ever make to the top!

This hike was incredible. We took the fire road to the meadows and camped there overnight. We set for the scramble/bouldering at sunrise. The bouldering is quite long but so fun! BRING BUG SPRAY. At least a full bottle per person. From the beginning of the fire road until the base of the bouldering, the mosquitos are AWFUL. We didn’t bring bikes, but I strongly advise you do. Walking that long fire road after a rough descent is very tedious. The view at the top is absolutely spectacular and overall a very rewarding hike!

Did this trail without a bike due to sprained wrist. Take a bike. it will save you energy and time for the scramble.
should have done my research about how to get up the summit first (like with this app!) because we spent a lot of time wondering how the best way up was!
Really awesome hike, will do it again as soon as I can ride!

Challenging but amazing hike! Trail is a bit difficult to follow once you get off the bike. Be prepared to scramble/boulder to get to the summit. Lots of fun!

Did this two years ago. You get a long uphill bike workout to get to the mountain hike trail, great scrambling to the false peak and then to the true peak (a sketchy climb depending on the season), and then a great (fast!) descent in the way down the fire road.

The first part on bike in the old fire road is very painful. At the end of this trail, you need to scramble all the way up. Nothing too technically difficult. You will be tired the next day but it's still worth it.
