Challenging but amazing hike! Trail is a bit difficult to follow once you get off the bike. Be prepared to scramble/boulder to get to the summit. Lots of fun!

Did this two years ago. You get a long uphill bike workout to get to the mountain hike trail, great scrambling to the false peak and then to the true peak (a sketchy climb depending on the season), and then a great (fast!) descent in the way down the fire road.

The first part on bike in the old fire road is very painful. At the end of this trail, you need to scramble all the way up. Nothing too technically difficult. You will be tired the next day but it's still worth it.
