Superbe randonnée, mais assez technique, si vous avez le vertige et ls peur des hauteurs, ne faites pas la partie de devil's thumb.lf début de la randonnée est sur un sentier.

Went all the way to the glacier to the Beehive and down the Lake Agnes route. There was no snow on the trail. You need to be fit to do this hike with ease but it is so worth the views. I would NOT go to the Beehive from Lake Agnes. Going from Six Plains is a lovely forest route to get to the top. Coming down via Lake Agnes means you could stop at the tea house if you wanted.

Great trail. Unfortunately it was smoky, limiting the incredible views.

20 km intense tout de même, prévoir quelque chose pour se protéger du soleil car on est exposé. Vraiment beau parcours, diversité des paysages etc .. Petit bémol, l’accueil déplorable à la seconde maison de thé.

Great trail. Did not find it challenging to plain or six but it was pretty. Super cool seeing some avalanches at the viewpoint. Worth the extra 1.3km. Stopped at the tea house and then climbed big beehive. Gorgeous view from the top. Totally worth it!

Great hike with incredible sites… three alpine lakes, two waterfalls and a Tea House. Best views off the Big Beehive. Well worth the effort. As one would expect very busy at Lake Louise with parking filling up at 9 am ( and don’t forget paid parking of $11.40 per day). Hopefully that revenue supports local costs.

Fantastic day. Very challenging hike, mostly due to distance covered. Bring lots of water and enjoy!

Amazing views from Little and Big Beehive. Plains of six glacier there is no shade and I suggest getting an earlier start ( I started this hike at 430am and finished at 1130 with a dip in Lake Louise. Lake Louise was super busy when I was leaving. I don't know how or why people were hiking up in runners with no water, bearspray or bag!?? There were tons of bugs early in the morning but subsided by time I was going up the Plains Glacier trail. Saw barely anyone until way down.

Amazing hike from start to finish make sure you do the full circle when coming back and not just back track as there are different views if you follow the full circuit around you won't regret it

What a great hike on such a beautiful day. Even with all the horse poop on the trail smelling up the place, still gets 5 stars. The worst of it is before you get to the tea house and then again some on the way to 6 Glaciers. We added Devils Thumb to this and it was the highlight of the day

We were at the Lake Louise parking at 8 and there was plenty of space. Start early if you like less crowded hikes. It's definitely busier than other hiis but it's a must and sure worth it.

Beautiful hike, totally worth doing the lake Agnes trail, the two Beehives and the plain of six glaciers in one go. It was definitely challenging but the views were worth it. The trail from the tea house to the plain of six glacier lookout was definitely slippery (due to loose rocks) but had breathtaking views. It took us about 7-8 hours including breaks.

We did Lake Louise Trail, Little Beehive, Big Bee Hive, Lake Agnes, Mirror Lake and Plain of Six Glaciers yesterday. We had no problem doing them all as you can easily get from one to the next. It was 6 hours 12 minutes of moving time, but we did stop at the Tea House at Plain of Six Glaciers for chocolate cake and lemonade. The hike was beautiful, and was about 24.3 km altogether. I highly recommend doing it this way as you see many beautiful views and get a good workout in. We arrived at about 9:30 am and there were still about 15 or so parking spaces in the second lot, but the lots were both full when we came back down. The trails were not overly busy. I would not rate it as hard though. Moderate with some steep sections, but not hard.

Easy 5 stars. The fact that the tea house is open and the staff are more than amazing was great! Easy trail, would only take 3.5 hours for six glacier trail alone but we went from there to high line to big beehive and down in total about 7.5 hours. Totally worth it

HikingGreat!

Completed this about 5 times already as this is our favourite trail when introducing our friends to a moderate hike. The hike to the lookout after the Plains Tea house is fairly easy with a little bit of difficulty toward the last 200 meters. The feeling of fulfillment reaching the other end is incomparable though so it is a must to reach the lookout. Another part of the hike that is difficult is the climb to the Beehive from the Plains. There's a lot of switchbacks and the trail is rocky and has a lot of roots. It is all worth it once you get to the top. Overall, the loop is moderate - mostly easy but long so be prepared to hike for more hours than usual. Enjoy the views!

This trail has it all: lakes, wooded areas, mountain peaks... The views are great. Clockwise it has a longer but more gentle ascend than the shorter but steeper anti clockwise route, but if you start early and go anti clockwise, you might avoid the crowds heading to and back from the Lake Agnes teahouse. It makes for a long day but if you are relatively fit, it’s not too hard. Well worth it.

WalkingGreat!

This is one of the most beautiful hike I have ever done. We started at lake Louis and took the path that went upwards. We reached at mirror lake at first. From there we took the trail towards little beehive. After that we went to lake agnes. The tea house near lake Agnes was really crowded. Then we walked until the summit of big beehive. From big beehive we took the route towards plain of six glaciers. But we faced hail storm when we were only 1 km behind the tea house. We got all soaked and waited at the tea house for almost one hour. Once the sun came out, we started again. It was only 1.4kms from the tea house. We enjoyed the view but got soaked again while coming back. I will not say it was a difficult hike. It is a moderate one. The trail is well maintained, neither scrambles nor snow. Just gradual inclination at some points. The overall hike took almost 9 hours for us, though we took lots of photo breaks and 1hr at the tea house.

August 2nd,2020, 8:30am parking lot near lake is full, have to find down parking, extra 1km walking, first to glacier, enjoy plenty of time along lakeshore, heard kind of thunder sound from upper Victoria glacier, I think it due to cracking of the ice, then from glacier to big beehive, the switchback is very challenging, that's why most people from beehive down to glacier, but I prefer this flow as in the afternoon light is better for photo of lake, then down along lakeshore of Agnes, little beehive, mirror lake, I did total 23km with 10hrs.

HikingGreat!

A challenging but beautiful long hike, took us around 6-7 hours. We planned to hike just to the Plain of Six Glaciers, but decided on adding the Behive as well as we saw on the map that it was a loop. We weren’t prepared for how hard it was (especially the switchbacks going up from the glaciers to the Behive) but the views were well worth it and after all the huffing and puffing, we felt quite accomplished!
