The trail is easy to well-marked, not too busy, and there are a few options for making longer loops if desired. Note that the SW corner of the 13-km loop is closed (signs in the parking lot and tape blocking the path) so you can’t do that part. It was snowing went we went so a bit slower than normal. Beautiful trail with tall trees, open spots at the ponds, and mountain views (probably a lot more to see during clear weather). Highly recommended alternative to the busier cross-country trails at nearby Lake Louise or Minnewanka.

Walk was mostly on unmarked trail through high grass and new growth, wouldn't recommend it for a hike as it's a cross country ski trail
