It started out so great but then got so lost. Could not figure out the map. Very pretty and the trees block out the wind.

This is our favourite backyard trail in the winter. We like that there’s always a little surprise at every turn and we enjoy crossing all those little bridges and frozen streams. It’s a very flexible trail, you can pick a path that will be equivalent to a 30mins walk or explore every nook and cranny for 3 hours. It’s really interesting to see how different it is between summer and winter! I did this walk with my 9 year old and it was good to be distracted by all the land and water features. We even had a mini picnic overlooking the Bow River with a view of downtown.

Pretty good when it comes to inner city biking but anywhere past 5 PM will get overcrowded with mosquitoes and most trails are very muddy, go with someone who's been here before or you will get lost. more difficult to bike in than other trails

Well that was muddy . Some of the “trails” on the west from the recording we followed required some imagination .

My family went bike riding last weekend. It was a great experience, a lung busting steep trail. We missed a few turns and we end up lost in the middle of the woods. Tho we managed to get back from where we were. Should have put more signs. Nevertheless, it was great!!!

Nice trails, hard to follow this specific trail unless you are using data to follow the map, super easy to get lost. Pathway needs to be marked. Besides that, we enjoyed all the little creeks and bridges and was pretty easy for my 10 and 3 year old.

awesome trails, definitely need more signage, was on a nice green trail and then bam into a black diamond. was not expecting that, but overall it was a great ride. loved finding the old busted up cars, well worth the trip there.

I like this trail. It’s pretty and has some hills to get your heart rate up. Some cute little waterfalls/bridges. There were not a lot of other people there today (sept 5), but I do wish they had signs up to keep you on the right path. Technically any trail will get you back and it’s not like you’ll get lost, but I do prefer to have a marked trail. But I did enjoy it.

Amazing trail. Short and sweaty. Hiking boots recommended. Lots of bikers on the trail. Great views. Some nice spots for photo ops. Two cars in the swamp, small waterfalls, lots of streams to cross on the trails, a big rock and a Kanata to sum up the experience. So versatile right in the city and very close to Canada Olympic Park.

Hiking

A great hike in the middle of the city through a forest, along the Paskapoo Slopes. The name says it all: you start at the top of a hill and hike down and then back up again. There was a little waterfall in the middle of it. Highway sounds during some of it. But very enjoyable. We saw a ~3 groups of bikers and a runner, but for the first half of the hike, we didn't see anyone else at all. It was mostly dry, with just a couple of muddy spots. I would recommend going counterclockwise.

Did this mini hike earlier this year and it was super muddy. Today (August 22/20) was beautiful some muddy spots but not as bad as it was before. Lots of people and families on the walk.
