This is a really nice path to take and provides a good workout, but it’s very difficult to follow. We got quite lost. Tons of mosquitoes so you’ll want to bring bug spray.

Loved this trail! Head East first (steep part) then gradual climb up. We did it the other way and the last part was quite a workout! Sunny and shaded parts.

Great trail system in the city for running, hiking and biking. It was pretty dry today and my kids as always had to visit the big rock!

Not a busy route for walking, if you don’t mind the high volume of mountain bikers. We went out to COP and back instead of going the opposite direction. The opposite direction is easier to get lost at since it’s multiple junctions, with no signs.

For a beginner Mountain Biker, this trail was quite difficult. Trail is easy to get to from Cougar Ridge. It’s very easy to get lost and go off the suggested route as there aren’t many signs indicating guiding you. Encountered several people who were lost during my ride, but eventually made my way around the loop. Lots of tight trails with nice views of the city.

SOOOO muddy, I fell with my son on my back and hurt myself. I’ll go back when there is not so much mud as it was beautiful.

Nice trail in the city but quite muddy and too many bugs. Good for biking

This trail was really great and I recommend it to anyone that is willing, but there were LOTS of bugs, mostly mosquitoes. You get to see lots of nature and a beautiful view of Calgary!

It’s a great trail for mountain biking, but there are some muddy parts, and some rocky parts. When I went, there were a lot of mosquitos and bugs. It is great for sight seeing also because there is a part with cars in the water.

this beautiful trail has some steep paths so watch your footing. as you make your way down you will be greeted by beautiful views of the city and bridges allowing you to cross streams with ease. near the end of the trail you will arrive at sunken cara from the 50s full of bullet holes makes you wonder what happened. beware of mountain bikers as they are all over the trails and don't forget bug spray!

Really beautiful trail...not too challenging for a beginner hiker however there are a few spots that are uphill and somewhat steep but overall not too bad. i believe this is primarily a biking trail so watch out for that. Took us 1.5 hours to complete the loop
