Very impressive waterfall that's a family friendly hike. Use extreme caution, cliff edges are very unstable and the rocks are slippery

HikingGreat!

The falls were beautiful and well worth the little hike. When you hit the fork...STAY RIGHT!! there is no signage and we went left, down a STEEP hill and when we realized we were heading the wrong way it was a bit of a hike back up. Not sure where that trail leads but it’s not to the falls. Once we got back on track it was a fairy easy decent down to the falls and it was beautiful! If you have trouble with minimal incline, might be good to bring some likes to help you down/up the very end. Bring your camera!

Great little hike off the highway with the kids. They played down at the falls and loved it.

There is a fork in the trail, do not go left. Stay right. Going left takes you down steep uneven terrain and to get back up you have to scale the side of the mountain. Didn’t even make it to the falls as we barely made it out of there.

Took my three kids (ages 8-11) and our puppy on this hike today. It was a little steep at parts but very little mud so we were fine. The views and waterfall were beautiful. Definitely worth it! The hike back was a little tiring for a couple of my kiddos but they powered through and really enjoyed it.

Neat little trail! Definitely recommend wearing good shoes as some places are pretty steep, but there are roots the whole way down the slope to help get your footing so it’s not too bad!

Nice little hike down. 20 min. Well worn path of roots. The last little bit is steep down to the top of falls. It has a nice rock ledge up stream and a couple little falls on other side you can view. Really quite a nice walk up river and such a good view for such a quick walk.

This a great half hour hike, one way. On the trail there is a fork that goes off to the left, down to the Muskeg river. That adds on an extra half hour, it is quite steep. The rest of the trail to the falls has a couple areas that are somewhat steep as you make your way down natural rooted steps. Depending on how well trained your pup is at recall, I would advise putting them on leash as you get closer to the falls. The amount of water that flows down the river could pull them in as they get a drink after the hike in. The views as you get closer to the falls is great as long as you have a respect for heights. The trail is easy to follow but can be easily driven past as you go down the highway. Driving south of Grande Cache there is a small road side pull off with garbage cans on the north side of the highway.

Great little trail if you want to hike and have lunch, a couple good hills but nothing crazy. I’ve done it summer and winter and never had a issue.

Done in June, lots of rain, so pretty soggy. The trail to the river under the falls has a rope area that we passed on as we had kids with us and it was really muddy. Nice little hike right off the highway.

One of those great little spots off the side of the highway with little markings or indications of its existence. About a 10 minute hike into the woods to reach the falls and they offer some good views. Hiking boots reccomend but not needed. Last little bit of the trail is steep but the majority of it is fairly flat.

Very powerful waterfall, and a very short distance from the highway. The last bit is steep so you'll feel it in your legs on the way out. Stay far away from the edge of the bank as you come down closer to the falls. Once you're all the way down and look back where you were, you can see that the bank has completely eroded underneath. An accident waiting to happen!
