Decent trail, very wet. Waist-deep snow from the 4km mark to the treeline. Didn't bring snowshoes, but they'd be highly recommended. 6 hours round trip with a decent break at the summit. No log book entries for 2020, which isn't surprising given the snow conditions.

Got turned around about 4km in due to deep snow and not being prepared. 2nd weekend of May

Nice trail. Easy to navigate. I had perfectly weather and trail conditions. Can see if there is rain or runoff it could be muddy. Nice views from up top. Lots of time spent in the Bush at low end. 5 hours round trip with lunch break and modest pace.

Fantastic hike! Absolutely blown away by the scenery, photos don't do it justice! Some fairly steep inclines, especially at the beginning, but very feasible with breaks. A couple areas get pretty mucky and some of the trail is fairly covered with vegetation past the meadow, but overall a very enjoyable hike. There's 2 additional campfire areas; one about 1/4 of the way up, and the other just past the treeline as you enter the meadow. Took us just shy of 4hrs up and 3hrs down, with an hour spent at the summit.

July 15-17, 2019 Family back packing trip for two nights...trail was wet in spots but do-able. Hauling back packs the 4.8km straight up for the first night was tough...rewarding next morning to scramble to the top. Views and experience well worth it with the weather we had. Family back packers should plan for at least two nights at least if you’re hauling your gear up there.

Good hike! The km are not that accurate on my counter but roughly accurate! Did Lightning Ridge and then came down on the horse trail. Good solid long hike! There was quite a bit of mud and some bushwhacking. Lots of beautiful views!

Did this hike last year. Camped at the top for 2 days and did Lightning Ridge the next day. Beautiful views. Well marked/used trail. Very steep at the beginning of the trail, but then it's not bad after about 6km.

Still lots of snow and postholing up to the top, some dry areas and signs of bears were all over the place. Beware, bring spray going into the spring months. There was a slab of snow beneath the summit that I am sure will fall shortly so be careful on warmer days. All in all a great hike. Stamp is broken at the top - still worth it. Watched a nice snowstorm cloud surrounding us the whole way but never really hit thankfully.

Late summer trail. The snow is deep well into July. Amazing view of town, and Mt. Robson.

One of the top three ridge walks I've ever done. This is one terrific hike.

It's not too difficult of a hike and the views are amazing. We went on a June weekend and there was still quite a bit of snow as you got higher up and fairly wet but not too bad.
