One of the most beautiful hikes I have been on. The long approach runs along a creek and meadow surrounded by many notable peaks including the first, snow and commonwealth. The long flat approach makes for some quick gain at the end but as you quickly gain elevation the views open of the surrounding and distant peaks. Did it with 15 to 20 cm on the peak and although it made it a little slippery it was a challenging but manageable scramble
