Mount Hamell East is a 13.5 kilometer moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Improvement District No. 25, Alberta, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching.

Located at the head of Hells Creek and N of Gustavs Creek between the Sheep Creek and the Smoky River. There is a fire lookout on the summit of the mountain. The East trail is very difficult, from the start it climbs and climbs up the East ridge. In 5.3 km the elevation gain is 1135 meters. Once at the top you can take the 9 km trail down a lot easier but the views are not as impressive as on the way up. Be very careful - there is a rope section as well as a scrambling section.
