First part of the trail is hard to find and stay on but once your up a bit the trail becomes more dominant and is easy to stay on. Almost made to the summit but storm came in and sent me back. Great hike but would say you have to like a steady climb if you want to do it

We spent a night camping at the blue rock campsite and hiked this trail the next morning about 2-3 weeks ago. We followed a mapped gps trail and mostly Bushwacked to the top. Beautiful views at the summit and worth the up hill hike. We saw a lot of bear poop on the way there and back along with a few coyote skeletons that seemed to be fairly fresh. Carry that bear spray and make lots of noise. We also saw a black bear near the highway when we were leaving to go home.

I did this hike 3 weeks ago. There's a lot of bushwacking, we mostly followed animal trails. The views are awesome, pretty steep, nice climb, good ridge and all really worth it. There was tons of bear tracks, so be careful, we saw the bears dinner leftovers and after we left, we saw the bear next to the road.

Did this trail yesterday, didn’t find any real trail just go straight up pretty much. 100% worth the incline. Made it too the final summit, great day to go out other than the wind that picked up as the storm blew in through the valley.

Nice trail when you get to the ridge. I turned around 200 m under the peak was still too much snow, but tomorrow will be probaly allright:)

Awesome and difficult climb in wintery conditions. Experience and technical gear required to complete in winter. Hard to find any trail through forest up to ridge, but once on ridge, easy to navigate your own path to the top. I only made it to the false summit due to daylight being shortened this time of year and also very tough, icy conditions on the last ridge.

Good hike, hard for sure went up and down in about 4 hours. Made the scramble up where there was some scree, deep snow but well worth the hike. Made it to the 1st summit but turned back cause it was sunset but would definitely return to complete summit

Fantastic hike, a little hard to find the way up through the forest but you will connect with the trail at some point. Amazing views and great scrambling. Made it to the base of Mount Burns but had to head back due to timing/weather.

Trail was difficult to find and follow, lots of route finding was necessary. Tough haul through the woods at the start, but stunning views once the ridge line was reached. Made it to the top of the two false summits relatively easily, but ran out of time to attempt the true summit.
