It was the second hike I've ever done in my life and it was a great accomplishment! Getting to the fire lookout was amazing. It was physically difficult as I wasn't an experienced hiker at the time but well worth it!!

Hiked Moose Mountain on Oct 25/16 and it was amazing! A little bit slippery in some of the snow/ice sections but we had hiking poles to help us. We stopped at the top for lunch and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The last kilometre back to the parking lot was a killer.... A great workout for sure! We took 3 dogs with us and they were easily able to maneuver through the trail. Will definitely be hiking this mountain again in the summer!!

Did this as my first hike ever and enjoyed it fully. Made it to the summit and took in the amazing views from then fire look out. Highly recommend this hike. Could go solo as there was plenty of people on the trail.

We did this trail after completing Ing's mine (ice caves trail on south base of moose); then we drove over to Moose proper to continue.

There is a trail that connects Ing's mine further north over the ridge and then you end up summitting Moose from the back side. It's 35km.

We did Moose at a leisurely pace and had a break at the top; 4.5 hours total.

Excellent trail for trail running and well kept. It's quite busy so go early or later in the day. We started at 2:00pm and finished at 6:25pm - there was no one after us and we passed numerous people on their way out.

This is now one of my favourite trails; the views are amazing. Lots of wildlife - we saw Rocky Mountain goats which is a super rare occurrence!
