Montane Trail is a 0.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8, Alberta, Canada that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Did the hike from bow valley campground. More of a walk than a hike but very easy and family friendly. Not a lot of elevation and easy to follow.

Not a bad hike but there are definitely better. We did this after leaving Many Springs Trail (which we liked more). It was a decent add on but I wouldn’t make a day trip out of it
