Easy trail. Started the trail at the end of the Elk Flats trail (so included part of the Moraine Trail) and did the loop in an hour and 30 minutes. Stopped for a lunch break and at all the trail stops to read the pamphlet. As someone else mentioned, Google “Middle Lake Trail PDF” for the pamphlet as there were none at the beginning of the trail. The pamphlet made the walk more interesting, pointing things out we probably would have otherwise missed. Trail goes mostly though different forest eco zones and a little ways along the lake.

It was a great hike but got a little turned around as the trail was still partially snow covered. Great for the kids and dogs. Beautiful scenery.

Nice trail through a forested area around the lake, but not very exciting. Good for a quick walk.

Great little area to wander through the woods. If you google middle lake trail PDF you can find the brochure online to follow along with the trail markers. A little icy this time of year still but easy for all levels!

This was a great place to see some little wild life. The red tail squirels were everywhere. Nice beautiful walk around the lake was simple and refreashing. Great place for kids too.
