Great hike with awesome views at the top we hiked to lake Agnes then hiked up to little beehive the views from there were incredible. There was a front coming through today and it snowed most of the hike the wind at the top was very strong, we also saw an avalanche across the mountain from us. I highly recommend crampons this hike had ice the entire way up and is very slick we saw lots of people unprepared and having a lot of trouble getting up and down.

One of my favourite hikes so far in the Rockies, absolutely breathtaking views. Just when you think it can’t get better, BAM! Craziness. Pretty steady incline the whole way up. Definitely have crampons! Saw so many people fall down and get hurt.

We did this hike a couple of days ago and the views from the top were beautiful! It was a very steady uphill climb the whole way and challenging for us as we’re pretty unfit but worth it for the views. Definitely don’t think we could have handled big beehive though.

It had snowed the days prior so we rented grippers for $10 from the sports shop in town and brought our hiking sticks. I highly recommend doing this in snowy / icy conditions as it helped us tremendously! We saw many people slip on the way up / down. We couldn’t actually find the rock that everyone gets their photos on as there was too much snow but the views of the lake were still beautiful and the trail was nice and quiet from Lake Agnes because of the snow which was great!

very nice hike, before arriving to the waterfall to go to lake agnes you have the option to turn left to directly go to little behive it is really worth it to take that path and lots less busy to I was all by my self!

Easy, comfortable path with a number of splendid views, not least of the three lakes (Louise, Mirror, Agnes)..

Great view over lake louise, lake agnes and mirror lake during the hike

Beautiful view of Lake Louise and Mirror Lake from up top. Just 1km from Lake Agnes teahouse. Lots of fresh manure... not complaining just saying.
Parking at Lake Louise is an impossible task even during the week. Had to go back to the shuttle and wait for 45 min to get on the first one.

Great hike for all hiking levels. Very diverse scenery the whole way up. Trail is very busy though!

Great views all around, with very picturesque stops along the way. As a heads up, since the park won't give you one: The Tea House near the top of the lake trail is closed in winter. Be prepared to deal with a plethora of tourists in very poorly selected footwear, especially so if snow is on the ground. I strongly suggest bringing grips or your best snow boots so you can go back down the mountain on something besides your behind ;)
