This is a great hike. However, I would highly recommend driving well up past LM6 so that you can enjoy this hike in about 5 hours. Please note that the access road is 4wd only in the winter and not for the faint of heart.

Limestone Lookout is a great hike destination and the 360 degree view is amazing. You get great views of the long ridge walk that runs from Eagle Mtn to the Clearwater River near 40 Mile Cabin. You can see Baseline Lookout due north about 50 km away as well as Bluehill Lookout to the south east. If you drive to the repeater tower it's only 3 km and 150 m elevation gain and all above tree line. You top out at the lookout at 2,252 m.
