Such a beautiful winter trail for skiing and a snowshoe - at least for these neck of the woods. If you get a good day with a coating of frost on the trees it’s beautiful, quiet and very well maintained. It’s no epic mountain views but still very lovely. In summer as a hike I could imagine this feeling Same same but for a ski or snowshoe it’s pretty great!
Pretty tough skiing in the beginning, a lot of hills that required more skill than we had going down. Felt really tired on this round but it was a nice ski.
Really great powder on the trail today for some hiking. Mild temps and trail is easy to follow. Really enjoyed myself.
Lots of people out today! Had to climb over logs in a couple areas from beavers
Lovely trail with the fall foliage! Some snakes in the trail which was cool! A little elevation but not difficult.
Great hike, easy elevation gain. Majority of path was dry, some swampy areas but no flooded out areas. Make sure you follow the maps on the trail carefully to make sure you aren’t doing more loops than necessary, lots of options for trails to take.
pretty muddy, and we had to turn back about halfway. it's a decent walk for just being at the recreation area, but not a destination hike in and of itself.
