Beautiful hike and great views of Bow river. The Hoodoos were interesting but nothing spectacular.
Great little trail to start if your a low lander and you need to acclimatize. The Hoo Doo is the biggest disappointment on this hike!!! If your only going to see the Hoo Doo you might find yourself disappointed with the hike itself but really it was the let down of seeing the one lone mostly washout Hoo Doo
It was a great experience!
Amazing trail all the way down to the hoo doos spectacular views of west side of Rundle
Nice trail, not too difficult of a hike, but still very enjoyable
Our Canadian honeymoon visit to Banff started out with an easy 3.1 mile trek from Bow Falls to the Hoodoos. (Date hiked: August 10, 2009.) Read the full write-up at: http://www.greeneadventures.com/2009/09/27/canadian-rockies-banff-bow-falls-hoodoos/
There are many trails that go off of this one that it made it slightly difficult to follow. That may also be because I wanted to be closer to the river, so I was constantly cutting over. That being said, I found a very relaxing spot to just sit back & relax, enjoying the sunny spring day.
