Saturday morning hike. A little too early for the amount of snow fall the area had this year. Beaver-dam Road was dry till Km 2, than it got muddy, and at Km 3.5 it was covered in snow. Walked the rest of the road to the trail head to find the trail was covered in 2-3 feet of wet snow. Had to abort but will be back this summer for redemption. The views in the area and the weather was great! I recommend leaving this area to melt for another month before attempting any hiking.

Amazing views, and very cool different ecosystems as you ascend and descend.

Great views. Super interesting rocks. We hiked an alternate route. Many ways up and down Hamell.

The view is worth the hike up.

Quaded in from the Beaver dam Rd. The ride was fantastic and the view from the top was even better. Rode off the back side to the Northeast- Trails consisted of old exploration roads - terrain was quite steep but worth the ride. Great view of the mine activities below.
