Trail stinks for a good portion as it’s frequented by horse and cows alike and of course all of their dropping’s you have to navigate. We attempted to take the middle ridge back but as was often the case the trail your on simply vanishes and so we gave up after a time and proceeded to the far ridge. Again once you find the trail it vanishes shortly after and you’re just meandering in the general direction you need to go until you stumble upon the trail or another trail again. Views were nice, wind was pretty strong. Not my favorite hike but a decent outing.

June 14, 2017 Steady uphill climb on narrow path to begin. Amazing views after about 1 km. Lots of loose rocks on certain parts of trail. Bit of water flowing down hill. Wildflowers were magnificent and plenty. We continued walking east to another lookout for lunch.
