I did this trail yesterday, and followed what I thought was the trail but led to open field, i decided to turn back and ended up finding hike in tent site. I did not download trail map and if I did it would have shown to keep going to compete the loop. Trail not always obvious. ill be back to complete other half as 28km in and out was not in vain. bring bug spray for some wood parts and watch out for cattle. A black cow made me do a quick grab of the bear spray until it mooed!

Thought I would give this a try, but I won't do it again. There are certainly some excellent views, but not throughout, just at certain parts of the trail. But the main problem was that trying to bike this was not always very enjoyable. Way too many horse ruts and areas of significant damage. Some creek crossings will get you wet for sure. These issues and overgrown trails made the journey slow most of the way. I went CW, and that seemed best. Some of the descent down Volcano did get the grin back, but otherwise I won't do this again.

did the Gorge loop trail to get to Mt.Ware, there were several spots where the trail was supposed to cross the creek, and would have been fine by horse but with the recent rain it wasn't passable on foot. Still a good and challenging hike.

We just did a 10 km section of the trail. If you finish headed south (on the old road) back to the parking lot, it is a big hill to climb. I was last out here over ten years ago and it would have been nice to know that you can no longer access it from the north end of Gorge Creek Trail. The only access is from Turner Valley. It is beautiful and easy, except the final hill, and the wildflowers are abundant. August 3, 2019.

If it weren’t for the rain and the grazing cattle that destroyed several parts of this trail it would be a great trail I would do many times.

We completed this loop this summer. If you start from South Gorge Creek to Indian Oils the trail will be much easier. We got turned a couple of times from Indian Oils to Gorge Creek trail. We did talk to a Park Ranger about the problem. She said she go out and mark the trail a bit better because this is a official trail in the area.
