Lovely walk (I wouldn’t call it a hike) just outside of Calgary. Really enjoyed the landscape of the valley and the rich green colours. Fun to see cows grazing along the way. We also saw deer, a coyote, lots of gophers.

This is a nice walk (not really a hike in my opinion) on very well maintained trails. Walk has great facilities, lots of seating along it and even bathrooms! It also has many display boards outlining the history of the area and how it has been used by different generations. Elevation is gentle with only a slight incline to get up from river level back to the parking lot.

Paths were good. More challenging than anticipated for cycling. I would consider it a moderate trail for sure. May try it again in a hiking capacity. Very busy as well.

A quiet walk away from the city. It’s an open space so bring sunscreen and wear hat at all times. Love the birds noise too.

A great park within easy reach of the city. The main path is paved while the trails are offshoots from it.

Nice walk on a fully paved trail. Beautiful views and vistas (except for the haze from the BC fires), we couldn’t see the mountains. Lots of open space — wear a hat and bring plenty of water! Was disappointed that the gates were closed for cattle and we couldn’t get to the supposed lake, but overall a great hike.

My friend and I walked this trail with my dog a few weeks ago. It was beautiful and not very busy. Nice views of the river and some interpretive facts along the way about the history of the area. Bathrooms are also on the path. There were long stretches without shade though so bring lots of water and sunscreen. Also, watch your dogs paws on the asphalt. My pupper had some hot feet and got a little sun burnt.

Great beginner hiking path, had some cow patties from the cows that roam the area. Great views of the mountains and river.

Beautiful long walk. You must go down to the river to picnic! the trails are mostly paved so it's stroller friendly. I love the horses and I've seen coyotes there too. I've been here at least twice. there are washrooms in the parking lot.

My son and I did this today. there were a ton of bikers on the paved trail and the likely more interesting part of the trail (by the river) was closed due to cattle being out in the pasture. Lots of cow patties on the trail. so, could be fun if you had your bike, but you are better off driving another hour to go to Banff and walk/hike there instead for much better sights.
