I loved this trail. There were little waterfalls and streams along the way to keep you entertained. Lillian lake is absolutely beautiful! And well worth the hike.

My favourite hike! Kid and dog friendly. It's in the trees most of the time and it's incredibly peaceful as you walk along the creek the whole way to the lake (which is also very serene). We went on a Thursday morning and it was busy coming down. We continued on to the other two lakes (worth it) and our round trip was 6 ish hours and 19.4 km.

Awesome trail! Easy to find and follow, very busy even on a weekday. The hike between Lillian and Galatea lakes is a grind. I didn't go all the way to the third lake but definitely would next time! The trail follows Galatea Creek all the way up and it's just beautiful - stop at some of the little viewpoints to see waterfalls and canyons and clear pools! Will definitely do this one again.

Fantastic hike! Trails were clearly laid out, didn’t get lost at all. Was a little longer than what people had stated, but no biggie! Definitely worth heading past Galatea lake to the third lake. Not many people around there. Never seen such a beautiful blue water in a lake!

We camped at Lillian on August 8th. I did this hike a few years ago but it was easier than I remember, even with the 20 pounds of gear. Took us 2h 15m to get up to Lillian and 1h 45m down, and we had to pass a bunch of people going opposite directions of us. If you camp there, I would recommend starting after 2 so you can get parking and it'll be a bit less busy. Also there is no toilet paper at the outhouse at camp so make sure you bring your own. We did a morning hike to Galatea Lakes which took us 1 hr round trip, also way faster than when I did it a few years ago. It's a really nice short hike and it's always busy! Such a nice weekend!

Go early so you can avoid people, the early bird gets the worm.

I would consider it moderate not hard. A great hike for dogs, and the lakes were stunning!

Easy hike, with a relatively short steep part near the end. In covered forests most of the way.

Beautiful hike but way too busy. No space to get by on the trail

Classified as combination of Hard and Moderate trail but I like how they maintain the trails so easy to follow. Beautiful Lillian lake but the Galatea Lake will complete the scenery. Absolutely one of the best trail I ever had so far!

beautiful hike, love how it follows the creek for a lot of the way! went to the second lake and would consider the hike there moderate - some steeper climbs but lots of spots where it levels out. rocky climb up to the second lake but was not a problem (had good hiking shoes, no poles). we are early 20s intermediate hikers and went at a pretty fast pace, took just over 2 hours to the second lake and 2 hours back to the parking lot. was about 17km round trip!

Great mid range hike. Experienced hikers might be disappointed with the volume of hikers on the trail but it was a great day! Couple of head walls that will get your heart rate up if you are 40+. I am 60 yo and was hiking with my two 25 something sons and they didn’t seem to troubled by them!

Always amazing. Short down hill at the start to the first bridge, beautiful views of the creek the whole way up, rolling up and down hike until near Lillian lake when the trails elevation gain increases. Great for dogs as there is shade and water all the time. Took a dip in Lillian lake before heading back down.

This is the trail of many bridges! It was a beautiful hike that takes you across the creek multiple times as you gradually make your way up to Lillian Lake. The last 1 to 1 1/2 km is a steeper grade, but there’s plenty of shade and lovely wild flowers to see along the way. Lillian Lake is loaded with fish! It was a perfect spot to rest and enjoy lunch. It’s fairly graded as a moderate hike. The parks map at the end of the first suspension bridge notes that Lillian Lake is 5.5 km which isn’t correct. AllTrails mapped our hike as 6.8 km from the start to the lake. This is a perfect trail for people new to hiking!

HikingGreat!

Great hike if you have dogs especially if it is hot as they can run in and out of the creek to cool down. Once at Lillian the bugs really came out .. so bring bug spray. Took us 4.5 hours but didn't do the second lake due to the heat and bugs. Quite a few families with young kids which was surprising. Would do again for sure!
