great hike and fairly easy until the last 1.7km. we went a day after rainfall and There were tons of bugs and we got stung a few times by beee despite strong repellants. In the end, Frozen lake has tons of fish, so bringing your fishing gear... it's a rewarding hike!

Beautiful trail! Last KM is a pretty tough vertical but well worth the climb to this pretty blue lake.

Great trail with a beautiful ending.. tricky last bit which is quite steep (the part up to frozen lake) but the view you get is definitely spectacular!

It's a walk in the "park" until the last kilometer where you will not need an electrocardiogram to check your heart rate. Your shirt will be pulsating visibly after that stretch. Great fishing. You can bike up to the border with about 3 places I need to walk it. It's a tough ride now because a lot of soft spots, mulch, on the trail after the flood but it saves 1/2 hr on the way down which can be a bit monotonous walking.

Tough hills at the beginning that level out, going through a marshy area. The head wall area is steep but doable, and the views are 100% worth it. About half the time going back down, and the lake is a great spot to stop for lunch!

Easy hike until you start to head up the ridge and then it gets steep in places...lots of snow at the top made life difficult...but the reward is more than worth it...loved it

Not much for signage but decent for an afternoon hike. Won’t take much in summer but a bit more difficult in winter.
