Lovely little trail that was made worthwhile with a beautiful view from the lookout! Trail starting to get very icy with all the compacted snow, can be done with walking shoes but makes for a bit of a slippy trail going down. Walked Oct 18th

Great trail! Steep in some parts, snow and ice on October 16th, 2019. Beautiful views of the hotel and the beautiful blue of lake Louise

Great trail with an awesome view. Packed snow from start to finish with no ice at all on October 11, 2019, which made for a really easy climb. Steep in some parts, but definitely worth it for the view of Lake Louise! Definitely a lot less busy than the base of the lake, which was nice.

Has a bit of a climb upwards but not too bad. The view is decent not the best as mentioned before mostly a view of the hotel with part of the lake. Still not too bad to see the true beauty of the color of the lake. Ventured off the trail after the lookout and very pretty and if I had more time would like to have ventured more.

Very smooth trail with a great payoff at the end, overlooking Lake Louise.

Fairly easy hike with a great view! You can either go back the way you came up, or after the look out there is unofficial/non maintained trail you can take. The unofficial trail had some great views of the lake along the way down, unlike the official trail. However it is quite muddy, steep and buggy!

This is one to skip if you are short on time. The only view is of the hotel and part of the lake, which is more stunning from other places in my opinion.

Short but steep climb, and the view was mostly of the hotel. Disappointing after doing the trails on the opposite side of Lake Louise (Lake Agnes Teahouse & Little Beehive).

The view at the top is gorgeous and quiet. The path was a bit muddy but worth it.

Steep but short and very doable. Well maintained trail with excellent view at the end. Buggy at the top but a great way to get your blood moving. Not crowded at all!

This hike was a great introduction to Lake Louise. It took maybe an hour to complete. The trail wasn't strenuous, but had some brief areas of moderate elevation gain. This trail is easily completed by people of all different skill levels, although it is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Family and I really enjoyed it. Short but somewhat steep short climb (20 mins) to a very nice view of Lake Louise.

A steady-steep hike that can be a challenge at times. No more than a dozen hikers over the length of the trail (up and back) after 7 pm. The need for adventure in most of us would make it easy to ignore the sign at the top saying not to proceed past the viewpoint, but the sign is there for a reason; went no further.

The views of Lake Louise from here are amazing! Especially for such relatively little effort. 100% recommend doing this short hike

Pretty overview of Lake Louise. Doesn’t take long, worth it to get a different and less crowded perspective of the lake

AMAZING!! I made this trail as a loop since I went by the lake, made it to the lookout then followed the map to go back to where it started from. It looked like the trail was closed before the lookout by using logs, and also there was a pile of now but no "closed" sign posted, so I went to the lookout and it was adventurous! It started to snow, but it made such a special trip. Must go! #27 06/19/2019

When you reach the viewpoint, just hike 50 steps further on the path for an even more amazing view (although the sign warns you not to). Sit and relax in the rocks and soak in the bluest blue you'll ever lay your eyes on.

Steep hike from the very beginning but pays off with the views. Some icy spots towards the top but easy to get around. Take a snack and stay a bit to enjoy a gorgeous view. It’s breathtaking.
