Great hike to the cabin! Stayed overnight. Snowed 2" in the evening. Would have been slippery walking out on the hiking trail without boot traction/crampons. 2 1/2 hours in and just over 2 hours out (lighter packs and better traction).

Fun hike! Trail is well kept. 2 hours in, stayed at the cabin then 2 hours out the next day. Will definitely do again next summer!!!

Great dayhike! Created a circuit looping this trail with Interlakes Trail to Upper Elk Lakes Trail passing by Fox Lake, and connected back to original trail Elk Lakes Pass back to the parking lot. Great views, good trails, well marked. Backcountry campground looks great too! Mosquitos are out! 19.3 km

Great backpacking hike. Took our group of 6 about 4 hours each way from Kananaskis. Get there early for campsites since they are first come first serve! They were building 6 more the day we were there but very popular spot from the B.C. side so early is better!
