Most of it is a family picnic area. Lovely little ponds and saw some migrating birds. I also went up to the bottom of Cascade Falls on the other side of the road. The first incline to the falls takes about 15 minutes to do for someone slow like me.

Nice easy stroll, expects lots of people. If your out by 6am wild life can be seen

We actually hiked up Cascade Falls from the parking lot. It's not shown on AllTrails, but it's a really nice hike up the scree of the falls a little over 300 ft elevation from parking lot. I would refer to it as a moderate hike.

This is a lovely short walk to do with family. Lots of prairie dogs whistling their warnings. But part of the trail is closed which made this map confusing. The signs say it will reopen in November 2019.

Beautiful spot for a picnic and scenic walk. Great photo opportunities. Very easy. Only runners needed. Rocky path in some areas. Did the Cascade waterfall first (across the road, west), then came down and walked around the ponds.
