Lovely spot for a picnic, but wouldn't consider it much of a hiking area. It's a great stop to enjoy a sandwich while biking on the Legacy Trail.

Trail Completed: August 21, 2020 We stopped here for a picnic lunch before moving on to Sundance Canyon. Afterwards, we completed the loop. The trail itself isn't long, should just take 10-15 minutes. Took us about 45 minutes with stopping for pictures and going in the creek. The ponds were a beautiful shade of blue. Fun trail, would definitely come back to do more here.

Beautiful scenery for picnic after the short hike. I personally think that this place is meant for families that would like to spend time together with lots of available activities to do. The hike is short and pretty easy for everyone. If you want or looking for something challenging trail then you might want to skip this trail.

Great little walk, beautiful turquoise water. Take the road on top of the ponds and the climb down for a better experience

More of a walk than a hike. Very crowded. Doable by nearly everyone.

Most of it is a family picnic area. Lovely little ponds and saw some migrating birds. I also went up to the bottom of Cascade Falls on the other side of the road. The first incline to the falls takes about 15 minutes to do for someone slow like me.

Very easy and simple for families and older people. Something to easy if you have nothing else to do!

We actually hiked up Cascade Falls from the parking lot. It's not shown on AllTrails, but it's a really nice hike up the scree of the falls a little over 300 ft elevation from parking lot. I would refer to it as a moderate hike.

This is a lovely short walk to do with family. Lots of prairie dogs whistling their warnings. But part of the trail is closed which made this map confusing. The signs say it will reopen in November 2019.

Beautiful spot for a picnic and scenic walk. Great photo opportunities. Very easy. Only runners needed. Rocky path in some areas. Did the Cascade waterfall first (across the road, west), then came down and walked around the ponds.
