Fun! Lake was frozen and skating was open. Bit icy. And the wind was a bit biting at the end. Great view of the Bow if you go off trail a bit... but across is Ikea. Ha. Great inner city break.

Really lovely 30 minute inner city space to connect to nature. A mix of gravel and paved trail. There are lots of offshoots you can do to continue the walk. All levels.

it's short, flat so stroller friendly, gets close to the river and that's a plus! unfortunately I'm a mosquito bait so I left the park looking like I got chicken pox lol!

By far one of my favourite parks in the city, I've been coming here since I was a kid. Right beside Sue Higgins it's great to walk alone, with your dog (ON leash) and take your mind off things, or to come for a picnic with family or friends. There's lots of nature like deer, birds of all sorts, honey bees, muskrats, etc. so be sure to keep things clean and don't feed the animals.

We love this loop for an early morning walk with the dog. My boys roller blade and I run with the dog. Lots of shade even on a hot morning. We love seeing the ducks and their babies too. Lots of spots to stop for a picnic, tables in the shade or sun.
