July 13,2020 Pretty view and easy hike however it was VERY windy and got pretty severe wind burn as it’s a fully open field hike. Also make sure you have bear spray lots of wolves, grizzlies and black bears. The drive there was terrible tho and slow the potholes are awful. However you get to drive through the mine and see the big trucks. All in all I’ll never do this drive again. But if it was closer or the road wasn’t so bad I would go back.

Went part of the way towards the climb of the first peak but saw a significant amount of grizzly tracks and digging, quite a bit were recent (1-2 days). Given that we decided to play it safe and turned back to complete Cadomin Divide just to get a decent conditioning hike in. Hope to come back earlier in the season next year on a less cloudy day.

Very enjoyable hike, fantastic views for very little physical effort. The drive there is a bit of an adventure in and of itself that’s for sure! But worth it in my opinion. Would definitely do this one again.

Fun little warm up hike with tons of scenic views. The drive out was pretty rough though.

First to Review

The trail consists of a rocky path through a partially grassy partially treed area on a rolling hill to the base of mountain. I would have scored it higher but I had seen a black bear on the trail and had to turn back sooner then wanted. Black bears typically don’t go out of there way to bug you unless there’s cubs around, however it’s never a good idea to approach them.
