Boulton Creek Trail [CLOSED] is a 6.4 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from May until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Construction Closure - Boulton Creek Trails May 10, 2018 Effective Date: May 10, 2018 until further notice Where: All trails leading to the upper Boulton Campground Store parking lot, and all adjacent construction zones. The closure includes: the paved bicycle trail from the campground road to the store, the Whiskey Jack Trail from loop A to the store, the paved bike path east of the store, and the entire active construction zone during the creation of a new campground loop. All access is prohibited. See the map for more info. Why: Campground loop construction activity including heavy machinery within the area.

Great place for hiking or cross country skiing! It's absolutely wonderful. there are many viewpoints along the way. This is also a great place for camping as it is right along the valley edge!

Was fun but at about half way there was still heavy snow and ice.., making it hard in a few places to see the trail. Also very muddy.
