Lots of diversity in this hike - lake, creeks, meadows, forest, some nice views. Great hike if you don’t want a ton of elevation but still want a bit of a challenge. Took us about 4 hours to do the full hike (appx 18km). Really well signed and maintained on the inner loop and by the lake. Outer loop was not maintained and quite pretty (glad we had gps!).

the walk itself is nice but it's hard to know when the end of the hike is since its nothing special.

The same thing happened to my friend and me last summer. This trail was supposed to be a loop, but loop we did not. There were no signs and the markers were confusing. Because of this, we kept following what we thought were our markers and ended up on a power line trail. We hiked for quite some time under the hot blistering sun, with zero idea of where we were. Finally reached a road and were able to eventually catch a ride back to Fish Lake.

Trails not clearly marked. We got lost and ended up on the forestry road. Luckily someone pick us up and took us to our car.
