Very kid friendly, scenic, and a short little hike. Lots of little waterfalls and streams. At the beginning of the trail there is an area that the kids all seem to love to play in, although the water is quite cold. We will definitely be returning once it opens back up next year.

Nice little hike if you need to get away for an hour or two. Great place to have a family picnic as well.

Went on this hike in June. Was a lovely little hike with a beautiful falls at the beginning and little offshoot paths worth exploring, leading to pretty little creeks and flowers. Quite busy, but if you go early (9:30 am-ish) its manageable.

Loved the amount of scenery throughout, although not actually sure if we stayed on the path the whole time because there was like a tree-root staircase?? Either way it’s such a hidden gem in the area. In true glutton form, I thoroughly enjoyed all the berries, I found Saskatoons, gooseberries, strawberries and raspberries, so yeah pretty choice snacks. Glad we caught it before shutting down for construction, I stg if the UCP sell this park I will riot.

Not too busy on August 7 around noon, a fair number of people on the trail for the last weekend before construction. Paths were muddy in places but overall pretty manageable. water level in the creek was higher than average due to rain, so some wetter spots on side trails.

(Closed until Summer 2021) Good for families with kids, or dog walking. Did this loop a few times in summer and winter 2019. Larger parking area, very well traveled and mostly easy going if you don't want to do the whole loop.

Done this trail many times before, always fun to do with all the falls on this short hike. Very scenic and entertaining for all, kid friendly. Only downside is how busy the trail is, with limited parking, benches and space to social distance.

The park will be closed staring the first week in August- until June 2021. The park is very much loved and needs a break, however, Be aware that most of the trail will be reclaimed and when it opens again will be much shorter/access limited. Get out today!

An amazing place to bring kids! Very easy trail as it’s more like a smaller park. You can go up the hill on the right side (very steep) but it’s an amazing view! You NEED bug spray. You’ll get eaten alive.

Great little jem. Been going since before I can remember. Easy trail with one big hill and a bunch of switchbacks on the way down. Trail takes you through all sorts of different scenery, lots of cute little waterfalls, takes about 1/2 an hour to do. There's also some interesting "unofficial" trails to check out. Great little picnic area at the entrance too. Unfortunately, nowadays it can get a little busy if you come midday

I went at around 8pm on a Thursday evening and the trail wasn’t busy at all. I saw some groups but there was plenty of room to keep our distance. I brought my large dog who loved all the water (the falls are all at one side, I started to the left so I had the falls at the very end). Was a lovely walk, not too strenuous but bring your bug spray!

great place for a comfortable and super quick stroll with some hike-like paths. lotta bugs but nice little waterfalls along the path. Went on our own trail I guess since we hadn't followed the AllTrails one so it got cut shorter but a good trail option overall in super close proximity to Calgary-great for picnics mostly.

Great easy trail for families and pets! Gets really busy. We got there around 10:30 and it was pretty busy already which is normal around here. By the time we were leaving maybe an hour or so later it was packed with no parking left and even using the hills and side areas. Still beautiful flowers and waterfalls Great to do for an easy stroll in nature

More of a picnic site with a walking path than a hiking trail. If you like being crowded and second hand cigarette smoke this is the place for you. Dogs are allowed on leash on the trail. However if you have a medium or large breed dog I recommend leaving it at home. I brought my medium size dog and due to how busy the trail was having her there ended up causing a lot of unnecessary drama. That being said the scenery is truly gorgeous with lots of little waterfalls along the way. I personally will not be back.

Very busy park. Lots of kids and traffic in the parking lot. Hard to find a minute alone. Does have some nice trails however, not very large.

Great trail with lot to explore. Don’t forget to visit Mackay’s Icecream shop in Cochrane after the hike.
