An excellent inner city hike that offers a quick escape to nature. This hike takes you to northern most section of Nose Hill Park which, in my opinion, offers the greatest opportunity to observe the wildlife within the park. The short hike takes you into two forested areas where it is common to see hawks, deer and coyotes in their natural habitat. You may even be lucky enough to see a porcupine.

Also on this hike you will find many species of plants including parry oat grass, prairie crocus, golden bean, bedstraw and sage.

It's recommend you bring water on your hike as well there is a bench on the trail that can be used to sit and rest, have a snack or just enjoy the view.

Please note: This section of the park is outside of the off-lease section of the park and officials ask that everyone abids by this rule and utilize the large off-leash area provided when needed.
