Cold at -15 but that much more quiet. Saw a beautiful coyote. Let him have the path and area.
It was beautiful, but so much of the trail you can’t really get to and you kinda just make up your own route.
Don’t think we ended up following the “correct” trail here but there are a ton of trails in the area so you will always find something. Beautiful area, busy and lots of bikers. Massive picnic areas and fields too. Great for families.
Awesome city trial encompassing Bowness, Baker and Bowment parks. Great for walking, hiking, biking or trial running. My dog loved this trial and the off-leash area in Bowment. Just note that the mosquitos are getting bad from all the recent rain, so bring bug spray! And there are some construction detours, nothing too bad though.
Fantastic trail. It’s a real gem that’s right in the middle of an urban environment. It takes a little longer than you might think, so do t forget to bring along some refreshments and something to snack on.
What a sweet park this is in NW Calgary! Given it the end of March, the paths and trails are clear. For a run on the pathway and on the mountain bike trails, I highly recommend this area!
Tons of different areas for different uses. Biking, dog walking, hiking, the river runs through for kayaking, canoeing and rafting. Fun wooden bridges to walk on. Which are very scenic. Waterfalls, and all types of animals make for a diverse nature walk, and awesome day of hiking/biking.
