The trail that leads to the top of Corcovado begins at Parque Lage, which is already an attraction of its own. Along the trail you will see waterfalls, and if you are lucky, a rich wildlife like toucans, monkeys, butterflies and various birds. The trail is full of curves and a few climbs in an area of dense forest. At the end of the Morro do Corcovado Trail, the walk is smoother and you will reach the road from the Corcovado railroad towards Cristo Redentor.

Great hike. Very clean and no problems. I went from the top down and enjoyed it very much. Even ran into a family of monkeys.
