NEEDLE OF THE DEVIL This rock formation in the form of a needle is in the center of a huge 'Cauldron'. The altitude above sea level in this region is higher than 2,000m and the needle stands out because it is a bit higher than the huge walls that surround it. In summer they say that the clouds, which almost cover up the whole Needle look very red at sundown, making the place looks like a huge bubbling cauldron expelling smoke, hence the name DEVIL'S NEEDLE. The needle can be seen while crossing but it is from the Lookout of Hell that one has the most impressive sight of its grandeur.
