Variety is guaranteed on this route. Shortly after the dam, the panoramic hiking trail begins. Schloss Reinhardstein and the river landscape take turns providing charming views. On the nose of Napoleon ("Nez de Napoléon" / "Neus van Napoleon"), the view falls dizzyingly deep into the valley. On a trail that sometimes steeply uphill, sometimes steeply downhill, it goes in a southerly direction. After the conifers, the deciduous crowns of the oak trees provide shade. At the crossroads, turn right and walk along the hillside to the Warche. Upstream, the valley gradually narrows until Burg Reinhardstein comes into view: the perfect template for the fairytale castle. From a platform, we take a last look at the wilderness in the valley, over which the castle stands majestically.
