Already at the beginning of the hike, the unspoiled nature of the places will surprise you. The scenery is even more beautiful when it adorns with gorgeous autumnal colors. The stream is already rushing to your feet: The pyritic water assumes a strange, slightly reddish color. As you climb the small hill, you can hear the roaring of the waterfall, which pours nine meters into a large basin. An amazing picture for our "flat" country. It reminds you that the nearby area of the High Fens is an oversized sponge and that a lot of water flows into the valleys and the reservoirs. Climb further up, the summit is not far. Shortly after crossing the Tîrifaye Venn you will walk through a landscape that is in no way inferior to a mountainous area. Along the Pouhon brook, logging highlights the narrowness of the canyon formed by the stream. Here and there, small wooden bridges enable you to cross places that would otherwise have to be waded through: The adventurers in the area will love this hike! Note: The path is sometimes very bumpy, some hiking trails are very rocky, so definitely firm and ankle-high waterproof footwear recommended. If you do not want to walk through the water you have to overcome some small and narrow footbridges. read more: http://der-eifelyeti.de/2017/02/05/ein-wasserfall-und-ein-canyon/
