Long hike with a great variety of forests. During the hike, the landscape often changes. You will cross forests, river landscapes, and then the Hohe Venn. When you climb the summit, you have beautiful views of all landscapes at once. At the beginning of the hike, you will follow a pretty path that meanders along the mountainside. The colors mix with the colorful autumn palette. The hike leads upriver and with each step, the water's course becomes wilder. The path becomes narrower and narrower until you have to cling to the railing to climb the hill! The view is magnificent. Slowly, the forest grows slender and the tall grasses settle, characterizing the Venn landscape. To reach the Monschauer Straße, you will have to climb. In front of you is a wooden walkway that crosses the Venn. The recent efforts to restore the Venn to its original state have led to changes, making it possible to discover a new birch forest in the process of being built.
