Stunning little spot. Returned after so many years with the pooch. A great spot to go for a run with the dog

Beautiful trail and a really easy hike apart from a couple really slippery slopes. Unfortunately there were more people on the track than a Boxing Day sale which took away from the serenity that it offered. Majority of walkers do not have dogs on a lead either.

Enjoyed the walk, went back to front. Lovely views, we did take a few detours. Next time we will connect back onto the track and come down next to the falls.

Nice trail but very easy to go off the main track. We took our lab who loved the water. It’s a shame that other dog owners don’t pick up after there dogs.

Great little hike. Start by going to the left to get the incline section out of the way 1st. As with other reviews nearby no one had their dogs on leashes. after the 1st section dog and human traffic dropped off completely and had the trail to myself. couple of sections have very loose gravel and one tree had come down across the track but easy enough to get around. Lovely time hiking this track and will l definately do this one again

Great trail, good challenge for someone starting out in hiking. Wouldn’t call this a family friendly loop although parts of it are asphalt. The views of the city are amazing !! The ruins of a house were also pretty cool. Very frustrating though that despite many many signs about it being on leash almost nobody had their dog on lead. We had a giant malamute run up to us despite us calling ahead asking for it to be put on leash and one couple even admitted they didn’t even have a leash on them. I’ve let City of Kalamunda know because this really is a great little track that we unfortunately won’t return to because of to many off lead dogs with no recall.

The wildflowers are out, the air heavy with their aroma, the weather was brilliant and therefore there were tons of people on the trail... That’s the only reason I gave this track 4 stars. We did this on a Sunday though, so that’s probably why. Just so you’re aware: nearly everyone had one or more dogs with them and more than half were not on a lead, even though there are signs at all entrances to the park. People, KEEP YOUR DOGS ON LEADS, otherwise we run the risk of this also being made an area where there are no dogs allowed. The trail itself was gravely in areas and sometimes sheer rock face, so beware. Otherwise: beautiful!

Lovely spot! Wonderful scenery! HOWEVER..... it is very easy to loose the trail and end up way off track. The markers are few and far between and often hard to see with the shrubbery. As long as your following the water your pretty set to end up at the car park again.

Great walk for the furbabies and teenage kids. Water is flowing and track is muddy in parts but a fairly easy trek.

Found the loop suggested by AllTrails didn't match up with the signage along the walk itself. I'd recommend following the signs as it keeps you closer to the stream for the walk. Come the turnaround point you can head back along the stream or walk uphill along property fencing and take AllTrails recommended track back to the start.

This is a great trail but super busy on the weekend with lots of people and dogs! It’s pretty washed out in places so wear sturdy shoes and in winter it gets pretty damp and lots of puddles. The track can be quite narrow on the section near the gully so if your dog likes it’s own space or is reactive I’d try and go early in the morning or avoid the weekend rush.
